Hope you all had a wonderful weekend! I spent mine on a date with my mom for her birthday, as well as trying out new foods. One of my favorite dishes that I tried was milk ice cream topped with sweet, sweet honeycomb at Honeymee located in K-town. I did not anticipate so many bees to be flying around the outdoor shop, and I almost wanted to call it quits and run back into the car, but I’m so glad we decided to stay. The rich honey and textured honeycomb was the perfect complement to the creamy cold ice cream.
Along with grabbing some of that bomb ice cream, I was always on the move this past Saturday, so I chose a light outfit that paired well with sneakers and could be worn from brunch in the morning to drinks at night. I started with the base outfit (top image) for when it was about 80 degrees out. Later at night I mixed in a blue denim type jacket with my bright blue plaid skirt.
The light denim jacket is an awesome piece to add to high-waisted bottoms as it looks cropped from the back, and adds structure with the long layers in the front. I wish I could have this in all different materials!
